This is the expanded episode just for visitors to the home page.
This episode we're talking through some disturbing discoveries in teaching early years and how that may be setting up kids for smartphone addiction before they hit their teens. 'Screenagers' is also looked at, a documentary film that is currently rolling out in private screenings across the US. We tie some of the findings locally with some of the content discussed by Joseph P Farrell's interview on Dark Journalist recently when discussing the book "Rotten to the (Common) Core". Sweden has recently made some new laws regarding surveillance equipment and permits that are now required for quadcopters and drones. There's also the news relating to the Myriad chip in security cameras. Sobering news and incredible advances but are we happy with where this direction is taking us? The links are below but I'll also post the full 7m30s PBS 'Screenagers' feature and the Dark Journalist JP Farrell interview specifically referred to on this show. We play out with a track featuring the vocals of Indii Moon, with Leaves Of Absense in a remix arrangement. Hope you all had a great time over Halloween! http://www.digitaltrends.com/cool-tech/sweden-drones/?utm_content=buffer4c6a0&utm_medium=socialm&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer http://www.theverge.com/2016/10/24/13352784/movidius-myriad-hikvision-computer-vision-security-camera? utm_campaign=theverge&utm_content=chorus&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCT5JcCXMPw PBS feature on 'Screenagers' https://soundcloud.com/sect-ion/ainneart-darkness-falls-remix Indii Colab Remix http://darkjournalist.com/
