In this episode, we are exploring the Humans versus tech pre and post lockdown analysis,
are we too reliant on tech?
Have you felt utterly exhausted recently: Stress, Adrenals and Sleep, the Golden Trio.
Spirituality and keeping the light on during dark times.

Since this episode aired, there have been more published studies and articles on something that is being referred to as 'Long Covid'. This term is being used in a healthcare setting to describe people who are exhibiting signs of extreme fatigue, muscular aches and pains, skins rashes and breathing difficulties - whether they've been tested or not and whether they have a diagnosis positive or negative (within the Covid outbreak timeframes).

The BMJ definition in this webinar was stated as thus;

 long covid was defined as “not recovering [for] several weeks or months following the start of symptoms that were suggestive of covid, whether you were tested or not.”
"“Profound fatigue” was a common symptom in most people with long covid,"

In light of the discussions in the latest episode of Dimensions And Beyond, we looked at Adrenal Fatigue as one of the primary contenders for some of the extreme fatigue that is being observed in the health store setting where customers are coming in and commenting on how utterly tired they are. It seems obvious to point out that there may be several types of exhaustion profiles out there but 'Long Covid' wasn't in the original line up.
So, I'm adding this in as a possible contender but I have discussed with other professional healthcare providers that the list of symptoms also looks like a breakdown of what we know to be 'Post Viral Fatigue Recovery' which can affect anyone at any time as they recover from a (usually) systemic viral overload on the body (Think Glandular Fever, that can take months to recover and is often extremely exhausting way after the diagnosis and apparent recovery). Keep this in mind as in these current climates, there is a lot of fear, mistrust and misunderstanding in information outlets of all kinds. If you feel utterly exhausted, there may be several factors involved. Either way, all of these fatigue profiles have some form of management strategy and although the road is long, it is a recoverable one.

The Lancet also has an article on this;

Be well, be compassionate to yourself in these chaotic times, focus more on what you love or are grateful for. We're all riding the storm.

I want to start my own podcast very soon. I am new to the business, but I know that I can do a lot. I am not sure if there are other people who will want to watch me, but I am fine with that. I am doing this because it is fun, that is all that there is to it. I seriously believe that I can make a lot of good things happen if I just try them out.
